Review

Highly Recommended … a must have book for all LNC students who want to pursue a career in LNC. This is the basic book that should act as the bare minimum …for a student who is just beginning his career in the field, it gives the right amount of information. ―Puneet Setia and Avneesh Gupta, in Anil Aggrawal's Internet Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Volume 11, Number 2, July - December 2010 The section on standards of practice contains many examples which I think are key. ―Valerie Gooder, Weber State University

Arrived as "good" instead of the advertised "very good" copy; there was some highlighting with very fine penciled in handwriting within the margins and under paragraphs. However, was readable, but in the "very good" description per amazon, it states that there should be no highlighting or writing marred in the text. With my course beginning in just 2 days, I needed this book and asked amazon if I could get a discount for this copy, instead of having the trouble of sending back and waiting for a replacement copy for what I paid. Plus I had used an amazon gift card and discover cashback rewards toward this purchase. Very happy with the prompt customer service and very pleased with a $25 price adjustment! The book is over 700 pages, the person who owned it before must have dropped out of the course because only the first 5 pages of the first chapter appeared to have been used out of the entire book. So far, so good, I have read some of the material. Seems to be written well, but my background consists of a forensic nursing graduate degree with exposure to criminal law studies and volunteer work at the DA's office. Really hoping this reference and certification course will help me transition into my next career path within the nursing world... the medicolegal approach.

WILL USED CONSTANTLY...

Just what I needed with the bonus of the second book. Nice!
