I love how zoid61 was able to ship The Tyrant Falls in Love Vol. 8 earlier than I thought and although I knew the product was titled used-acceptable, it looked better than I thought.
This is a great finisher for this series. I enjoyed the story line and the artwork very much. It is beautiful yaoi.
If you love yaoi, you know it's time to start creating your own collection. I decided to buy the last volume (available as of now) and I was not disappointed. The artwork is clean and fluid. You get the extras near the end. Overall, definitely something worth owning.
The story is still progressing as expected and although I thought is was moving too slow, this vol move faster but seemed to skip something.
This story is great. It flows so nicely.

Tatsumi’s temper and Morinaga’s determination to push at his boundaries have caused a lot of friction throughout their on-again, off-again relationship. They’re part of makes this series such an exciting read; erotica with an edge of tension is a surefire tactic in the hands of an able writer.Tatsumi still doesn’t evince any attraction to other men and remains adamant in his homophobia. For a long time, that really bothered me; it made Morinaga’s attraction to him an utter mystery. But this series makes a real case for the saying “the heart has its reasons that reason knows not ofâ€. There is no sense to love and/or attraction; it simply is.However, Morinaga’s determination to jump him at almost any opportunity, no matter how inappropriate (outdoors, indoors on school grounds during working hours), is put on hold here. Their first sexual interaction was just a hair short of rape; in the real world Tatsumi would have had him arrested. But this is how their relationship started and Tatsumi was left sufficiently confused by it to allow Morinaga to ease almost imperceptibly into their life.Now Morinaga’s willingness to back off gives Tatsumi room to address his own feelings and desire for Morinaga. That doesn’t allay his temper (which is so much a part of him that you can’t really imagine him without it) or his impatience with Morinaga’s sentimentality. But it does allow for Tatsumi to admit what he feels…even if it’s in a very roundabout fashion.The story pulls in others, each with their own opinions, observations and advice. It keeps the tale from becoming too insular and allows different viewpoints about their relationship. There’s also another sex scene but it rises organically out of Tatsumi’s growing puzzlement and frustration at Morinaga’s distance. For those who like erotica with their romance and romance with their erotica, this series finally manages to pull off both.
